Travel To Alaska

I’m going on a cruise, when in Port want to find transportation and fishing spots. Who really knows, definitely not the cruise ship or travel agent.

Basically looking for any local and help in and around Seattle on 8/12, Vancouver on 8/13, Ketchikan 8/16 Juneau 8/27 Skagway on 8/28 and Anchorage Alaska on 8/21??????

Also INFO on weather, clothes, bait, guides and tours? But I think the best info I have seen is on the Alaska’s fish and game website. However it doesn’t explain transportation or rate spots. On one chat site, it suggested a taxi and the other a bus and the last a rent a car? What do you know? Moroever where I can get better info, maybe a local shop or hotel, got any suggestions?

It seems to me most H-D riders around my neck of the woods are all idiots of one kind or an other (almost never seen a real “bikie” around here). Generally fat and clearly allowed out of their slavemasters accountancy/legal office only at the weekend, with their fat wives on the back, all in “heavy” looking leather gear and traveling in loud packs.

Who pays for race fees, travel funds, dirt bike, gear… etc?

Since 2000 the number of foriegn tourists visiting america has dropped 20% partially due to Bush foriegn policy but mainly because of the restrictions placed on foriegners (treating them like criminals and wanting all their personal information I.e. credit card details and other records) who wants to holiday there. Now instead of just wanting a thumb print and a photo of the visitor (even if you are from a visa waiver country) they want all ten fingerprints and an iris scan or other biometrics. In 1996 i had a great holiday in the US skiing and up until recently i wanted to go back and try other ski resorts there, but why should i be treated like a criminal just because i want a holiday.
I have been to India, China, South Africa and many places around Europe without having to reveal as many details as the US wants (even with having to get visa’s).
I have decided i will never visit the US again as long as they continue to treat law abiding with such contempt.
Q-Burt, your details are requested by the US govt through the airlines you travel with before they let the plane land. I suppose them restrictions are not put on a member of the US armed corporate killing services. Have fun when the PTSD sets in.
