Travel To Alaska

My friend and I are both 21 and are looking to road trip in America this summer (mid-June to early July) and we need to hire a car. Our journey takes us through Nevada, California and Arizona. We are travelling for 22 days. It is only us and we both intend to drive the hired car. Being aged 21-24 we are often subject to an additional charge per day. Has anyone been in a similar situation? Can anyone recommend a company which would be the cheapest for our situation?

Has anyone here used TMS to exchange their travel money? I am a little nervous of buying online. Can you tell me if the money arrived ok and on time please? They are based in Hayle Cornwall and seem to have the best rates. Also if anyone thinks the Australian dollar exchange rate may improve in the near future?
The reason I want to use TMS are because the rates are the best I have seen.

I’m sorry to post my alska question here. I posted 1 in general travel and got just 1 response. I will be spending 3 nights in anchorage, alaska in july. I will be travelling with my wife and 10 yrs old daughter. Can anyone advice me what should i be doing in these 3 days. I want to see the orca whale. Can i get any one day cruise tour from anchorage to see the orca? And can anyone tell me the cheapest way to travel from anchorage to seward and how long will it takes? Also how to get to the alyesky hotel from anchorage?I dont want to drive. Is it safe to walk around at night in anchorage?

So I’m planning a trip to Lake Tahoe this holiday season and I’m looking for a well priced but fun packed ski resort. My 6 month old is about to out grow his infant car seat and I’m not sure what we’re going to do. We live in Singapore w no car and take taxis a lot so the infant seat snapping into the stroller is really convenient for us. I’m quite sad that he is outgrowing his infant car seat already! I can’t understand this :IO

Unaccompanied Minors are not allowed on flights departing between 9 pm and 5 am unless travel is international, on a domestic flight less than 2 hours or on a flight operating to/from Alaska and Hawaii.

Does this mean alaska hawai and international is not allowed?
Because I would love to go on a night-flight.
