I am looking for baby gear (stroller or travel system, car seat, playyard, bouncer, highchair, etc….). Is there a brand that anyone would recommend or any brand to steer clear of? Is there a web site I can access to find out the safety rating on any of these items?

i don’t want to wait half an hour to be carted 2 kilometres down the road in a transit van, to the ACTUAL car hire company!!
i have to say that i hate it when people reply, saying “i don’t know the answer to your question”. the big drawback of YA’s points system is that people can abuse it like this.

Every travel insurance policy I read says something along these lines:

“Exclusions.
The policy does not
cover any loss caused by:
pregnancy or childbirth, or elective abortion, other than
the Complications of Pregnancy;”

What do they mean by “other than complications of pregnancy”?
Does that mean that if i purchased their insurance they would not pay for doctor check-ups, but they would pay for a pregnancy emergency?

I know they generally don’t cover pregnancy, but what if something goes wrong and the child comes three months early, or gets sick, or such?

I would be really grateful for any answers. Thanks.

PLEASE SOMEONE help me, i understand how a manual transmission in a car works (In saying i know how a car changes gears, and how all the parts apply), but i don’t understand how gear stresses apply, eg, in 1’st gear you can only travel say 20k/h then you have to change to second, any higher and you will redline and explode? why is this so? why can 1st gear only go 20k/h why don’t we just make one gear that goes from 0 to max speed, and please talk in layman terms, im not a mech so i won’t understand if you talk mech talk lol (no offence to you smart mechanics out there, i envy you guys for your knowledge!) does it have something to do with a ratio, the circumference of the gears? help please, thanks so much.
